Slow Cooker Taco Soup Recipe

Here’s an easy, delicious and healthy recipe we could all use.



  • 1 lb. ground turkey
  • 1-2 tbsp. oil
  • 1 cup diced tomatoes in juice (canned or fresh)
  • 4 cups beef or chicken broth ( I used beef)
  • 1 tbsp. garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp. onion powder
  • 2 tbsp. ground cumin
  • 1 tbsp. chili powder

Optional Toppings:

  • 1-2 cups corn (frozen is fine)
  • 1/2 cup favorite, clean salsa (watch the sodium!)
  • Chopped fresh cilantro
  • Chopped, fresh avocado
  • Chopped fresh onions
  • Grated cheese
  • Sliced black olives

Peanut Butter Fat Bombs are taking the internet by storm, and for good reason…Healthy fats are all the rage! Let’s get these babies going…

Ingredients: clean-eating-peanut-butter-fat-bombs-pin

  • 1/2 cup virgin coconut oil, in liquid state
  • 1/4 cup clean peanut butter
  • 1 1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
  • Pure liquid stevia to taste
  • 1 tsp. pure vanilla extract

I know Eggnog may be an acquired taste, but the people I know, who drink Eggnog, LOVE IT!


  • 3 eggs, lightly beaten
  • 1/3 cup white sugar
  • salt to taste
  • 2 1/2 cups milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons confectioners’ sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup rum (optional)
  • 2 drops yellow food coloring (optional)
  • 1 pinch ground nutmeg

This recipe is delicious and also “clean eating“…you can adjust the ingredients if you are not a clean eater, but I advise you to try it as intended. :)  Delicious.


  • 1 lb. roasted, lightly salted peanuts
  • 3 cups honey
  • 3/4 cup grass-fed butter
  • 2 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 tbsp. pure vanilla extract


  • Prep your freezer so you have a place to place your cookie sheet. Remember, the bottom will be hot.

This is a perfect homemade gift idea for those of you who love to give handmade gifts!


INGREDIENTS: popcorn-season

  • 2 tbsp. smoked paprika (regular paprika is not the same)
  • 2 tbsp. garlic powder
  • 2 tbsp. onion powder
  • 1 tbsp. powdered sucanat (I powdered mine in my Ninja blender)
  • 1 tsp. chili powder
  • 1 tsp. fine salt



  • 2 tbsp. curry powder
  • 2 tbsp. garam masala
  • 2 tbsp. garlic powder
  • 2 tbsp. onion powder
  • 1 tsp. fine salt



  • 2 tbsp. ground cumin
  • 2 tbsp. onion powder
  • 2 tbsp. garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp. chili powder
  • 1 tsp. paprika
  • 1 tsp. fine salt
  • 1/4 tsp. powdered sucanat (optional)

(Best served with some parmesan cheese sprinkled on too)


  • 2 tbsp. celery seed
  • 2 tbsp. dried parsley
  • 2 tbsp. garlic powder
  • 2 tbsp. onion powder
  • 1 tsp. turmeric
  • 1 tsp. fine salt

Everything we eat during the Holidays doesn’t have to increase our pant size…and these little snowmen are the perfect snack to give us energy for shopping, wrapping, baking, mommy(ing) and hitting the gym.

Needed Tools: snowman

  • A good food processor.


  • 2 cups raw cashews
  • 1 cup medjool dates, pitted and packed tight
  • 1/2 tsp. pure vanilla extract
  • 1 cup unsweetened coconut flakes
  • 1/4 cups mini chocolate chips (for eyes)
  • 2 baby carrots (for nose)
