Give It Away, Give It Away, Give It Away Now!
Oh boy oh boy! I’m currently running my very first giveaway. (No, I’m not giving away Kids Belts.) It’s not going very well so far. It’s a short term contest that ends Friday at 9pm est, but that still gives everyone time to enter. Now to get them to enter…hmmm….
I submitted this contest to several giveaway websites but it doesn’t seem to be having any impact. I’m not sure if the problem lies in my lack of following or the prize value being to low. I am sure it’s mostly due to the lack of following. Not many people know I’m doing 30 posts in 30 days to promote our main business, selling Kids Belts. Those who do aren’t really interested in a contest unless I’m giving away $20,000. Which I’m not.
I’m thinking there must be a secret to this giveaway thing. Just like when I started selling Kids Belts 2 1/2 years ago, I was lost and overwhelmed by the (mis)information out there. How do you know what’s going to work? How do you what sites to submit to? I’m going to go have to pick some brains about this. I’ll get back to you.

Old MacDonald had 100 Christmas Songs (AND a giveaway!!!)
I am a bit behind. Okay, that’s an understatement. I am extraordinarily behind. But thankfully I have patient friends, family, and business acquaintances – that are friends – I mean, who are we kidding. So I’m combining 2 posts about the same company because I owe them big time and I love them dearly.
This particular blog post, while not about Kids Belts, it is about another one of my favorite things, iPhone Apps, in particular, Kids iPhone Apps. Anything that keeps my kids occupied and not fighting makes me happy. The super cool thing is that she can change instrument sounds. I’m definitely giving this app 2 really big thumbs up and 5 stars!
