Monkey Milk (The kids will LOVE this)

This is a great breakfast drink or after school snack!


  • 1 large banana  monkey milk
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 teaspoons white sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 pinch ground cinnamon


  1. Combine banana, milk, sugar, and vanilla extract in a blender.
  2. blend until smooth.
  3. Pour into 2 glasses; garnish with cinnamon.

Zucchini Linguine (Under 300 Calories)

I know we share a variety of recipes on our blog, while this is healthy and lo-cal it’s also delicious. Try it and see for yourself… Zucchini Linguine Prep - 15 m    Cook - 15 m    Ready In - 30 m Ingredients:  zuch linguini

  • 1 (8 ounce) package linguine pasta
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 3 zucchini, shredded
  • 1/4 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup plain nonfat yogurt
  • salt and pepper to taste


  1. Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Add pasta and cook for 8 to 10 minutes or until al dente; drain.
  2. Meanwhile, heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Saute garlic until it starts to brown. Stir in a handful of grated zucchini; cook for 1 minute and then add the rest of the zucchini. Cook for 3 minutes.
  3. Toss pasta with zucchini, cheese and yogurt. Season with salt and pepper. Mix well and serve.

Parmesan Cheese Puffs! (Delicious & Easy)

Okay, okay, these are too easy and only 3 ingredients!

Parmesan Cheese Puffs

Ingredients: parm

  • 2 egg whites
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 5 cups oil for deep frying


  1. Directions
  2. Heat oil in a heavy pot or deep-fryer to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
  3. In a medium glass or metal bowl, whip egg whites until they just hold a stiff peak. Fold in Parmesan cheese until evenly distributed. Form level teaspoons of batter into balls.
  4. Fry balls a few at a time, turning once until crisp and golden. Using a slotted spoon, remove puffs from oil and place onto paper towels to drain.

Taco In A Bag! (Kids Will Eat It Up)

Okay, I must admit these look pretty fun, for the kids that is… ;)

Ingredients:  taco

  • 1 pound lean ground beef
  • 1 (1 ounce) package taco seasoning mix
  • 4 (2.5 ounce) packages corn chips
  • 2 cups shredded lettuce
  • 1 chopped fresh tomato
  • 1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 1/3 cup salsa
  • 1/2 cup sour cream


  • Place ground beef in a large skillet. Cook and stir over medium heat until browned. Drain excess oil. Mix in the taco seasoning and prepare according to the directions on the package.
  • With the bags unopened, gently crush the corn chips. Snip the corners off the bags using scissors and slit open the bags along the side edge. Spoon equal amounts of the beef mixture, lettuce, tomato, Cheddar cheese, salsa and sour cream into the bags on top of the crushed chips.
  • Serve in the bag and eat using a fork.

This Plum and Raisin Chicken recipe is another that I’ve found that is delicious and clean eating!

(Makes approximately 9 1/2 cups)

Ingredients: plum-raisin-chicken-v-1

  • 4 raw, boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 8 oz. each)
  • 2 large plums, sliced thin
  • 1 cup golden raisins
  • 1 (28 ounce) can diced tomatoes
  • 1 (15 ounce) can light coconut milk
  • 1 teaspoon curry powder
  • Salt to taste
